Colour of Couture is not just any contest or pageant, COC is a Top Model Competition created to showcase the brilliant talents of the Women of Color in Second Life Fashion — including Aboriginal, African/African Diaspora, Alaska Native, Asian, Caribbean, Latin American, Maori, Native American Indian, South Sea and Pacific Island, and Indigenous heritages throughout the world.

One need not be a woman of color(in RL) to compete in COC. What we do ask is that each entrant have a love of world culture and have the spirit of a women of color, which includes a willingness to cooperate and a desire to honor women of color for their contributions and achievements. For the Colour of Couture – Top Model Competition all contestants may enter and must maintain their avatar as a Woman of Colour as suggested above.

Colour of Couture is to bring awareness and celebrate the different cultures and ethnicity of women of colour of the world. Your willingness to represent a woman of color in Second Life, and in turn help celebrate that beauty, intelligence and creativity of such women, is our quest of empowerment across the grid.
